Founded by Kiwinda Godwin and Lawrence Camara, our mission is to bridge Africa’s rich coffee heritage with buyers in the United Kingdom and Europe. Our roots in Uganda and expanding network across East Africa enable us to deliver high-quality green coffee with transparency and reliability.

Our Origins and Vision

Green Coffee Africa was born from a desire to simplify the green coffee supply chain. With Uganda being a top producer of Robusta coffee and an emerging source of premium Arabica, particularly from the Rwenzori Mountains and Mount Elgon, we saw an opportunity to connect farmers directly with global buyers. Our vision is to make it easy for roasters, importers, and coffee businesses to source exceptional coffee directly from its origin.

We work closely with farmers and cooperatives, ensuring that every bean meets international standards. Our focus is on direct sourcing, quality control, and full traceability from farm to export. By doing so, we guarantee that each shipment reflects the true quality of African coffee.

Quality Assurance and Sampling

Every coffee lot is selectively handpicked and processed using washed, natural, or semi-washed methods. We ensure careful drying, sorting, and grading for export, delivering consistent, high-quality beans that meet the expectations of modern roasters and importers.
